Granny 3 Unblocked: A Third Threat You Can’t Look At
Two enemies who react to sound were manageable. Granny 3 adds a third who kills you for making eye contact, and that changes everything about how you move through a room.
DVloper’s third entry moves the whole story to a mansion behind a moat and a high wall, and it’s why so many players search for Granny 3 Unblocked to play it straight from a browser. You wake up as a prisoner again, except this time Granny and Grandpa have brought their granddaughter Slendrina along, and she doesn’t care how quiet you’ve been. Play it now at grannygameunblocked.com.
A Bigger House, A Third Enemy
The setup starts the same way it always has. You come to somewhere you don’t recognize, this time a locked cell inside a mansion with a moat running around the outside and a wall meant to keep you in rather than keep anyone out. Five days to find a way past the gate, same as before, except now there’s more to explore than any previous house in the series, including grounds outside the building itself.
Granny still hears everything, from a dropped item to a creaking floorboard. Grandpa still doesn’t hear especially well but carries a shotgun and uses it the moment he spots you. Slendrina is the new problem, and she doesn’t patrol like the other two. She just appears, and if you hold eye contact for more than a second or two, that’s the run over. Looking away immediately is the only real counter until you find a way to remove her from the game entirely.
DVloper (Dennis Vukanovic) released Granny 3 on Android on June 3, 2021, with the PC version arriving on Steam that August. It’s the only game in the trilogy not available on iOS, since Apple flagged it as too similar to the first two titles.
Controls
- WASD: move through the mansion
- Mouse: look around and aim
- C: crouch to move quietly
- Left click: interact, pick up items, fire a weapon
- Tab: check your one carried item
Same single-slot inventory rule the whole series runs on. What you’re holding when Slendrina shows up matters less than whether you can look away fast enough.
Getting Slendrina Out Of The Equation
There’s one real fix for the Slendrina problem: find the teddy bear and place it in a crib in the attic. Once that’s done, she’s gone for the rest of the run, permanently, and you’re back to worrying about just Granny and Grandpa. It’s worth prioritizing early, since every extra encounter with her is another chance to glance the wrong way at the wrong moment.
Bear traps show up in busy hallways too, and the moat surrounding the mansion isn’t decoration. Jumping in ends the run outright.
Weapons and Items
Grandpa’s shotgun can be taken from him once he falls asleep, usually not long after leaving the basement, with ammunition scattered through the house or sitting in the old car parked out front. A slingshot works as a second option, though it needs a weapon key hidden in a coconut shell before the slingshot itself can be picked up from its case. Both weapons only stun, not stop for good, but a stunned Granny or Grandpa buys enough time to move through a room you’d otherwise have to avoid.
There are three ways out once the groundwork is done: opening the main gate after lowering a drawbridge and powering a control panel, catching a train from an underground station after dealing with a robot guarding the platform, or building a hot air balloon out of parts scattered through the mansion. Each route needs its own set of items, so the choice usually comes down to whichever set of tools turns up first.
Difficulty
Granny 3 keeps the same five-tier system as the rest of the series.
- Practice: Granny and Grandpa are removed entirely
- Easy: Slower reactions from both, more forgiving pacing
- Normal: The standard first attempt
- Hard: Faster, sharper hearing
- Extreme: Fastest pace, and looking at Slendrina for even a second is fatal
That last detail on Extreme is worth knowing before jumping in. On lower difficulties there’s a small window to glance away. On Extreme, there isn’t one.
Why This Entry Hits Differently
The first two games built tension around sound. Granny 3 adds a threat that punishes something else entirely, sight, and that forces a different kind of caution. You’re not just listening for footsteps anymore, you’re managing when it’s safe to look around a corner at all.
It runs the moment the tab loads too, so playing Granny 3 Unblocked on a school Chromebook works with nothing to install first.
Turned a corner into the yard and found Slendrina standing near the moat, stared at the ground for what felt like a full minute before risking another step.
Five Moves That Keep You Alive
Move One: Find the teddy bear and place it in the attic crib as early as the run allows, since it removes Slendrina for good.
Move Two: Look at the floor the instant Slendrina appears, don’t wait to confirm what you’re seeing.
Move Three: Wait for Grandpa to fall asleep near the basement before attempting to take his shotgun.
Move Four: Stay well away from the moat’s edge, since falling in ends the run instantly.
Move Five: Pick one escape route, gate, train, or balloon, and commit to gathering its items instead of chasing all three at once.
The Rest Of The Series
Granny 3 caps off a trilogy that started with a single locked house and grew into something considerably bigger. The original Granny and Granny: Chapter Two are both playable on this site too, so anyone searching granny 2 unblocked or browsing granny unblocked games in general can start there before working up to the mansion. Unblocked granny searches tend to land on this same site for exactly that reason, since all three games sit together here.
